During the latter part of last year, a partnership agreement was linked between Wellous and The Lost Food Project (“TLFP”). Wellous will support TLFP as the food and non-food donor under this partnership.
In light of this development, we had the opportunity to join TLFP for their recent compassionate outreach to the Pusat Penjagaan Warga Emas Hati Mesra. The visit was truly fulfilling and heart-warming, allowing us to witness first-hand the positive impact our collaboration is making.
This experience reinforced our commitment to the partnership and the shared goal of making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve. We look forward to many more collaborative initiatives and moments of shared joy in the future.
Wellous Group proudly supports the charity drive of the 2023 ZL Cup – ZheeLong 12-Hour Ultramarathon Challenge.
Cheng ZheeLong, who suffers from congenital cerebral palsy, a permanent movement disorder that typically appears in childhood, has been running for 14 years since 2004. With determination, he finally stood on the global stage of sports after overcoming all kinds of adversity in life.
Through the ZL Cup, we hope to inspire more people to participate in sports activities, focus on healthy lifestyles, enhance personal physical fitness and self-confidence.

As part of the sustainability and ESG efforts, Wellous is looking to collaborate with The Lost Food Project (TLFP) in supporting its contribution to the community.
TLFP is a Malaysian non-profit dedicated to rescuing and distributing viable “lost food” to those in need. The “lost food” is referring to the “surplus food” which are good-quality food, all perfectly edible and nutritious, that would otherwise end up in landfills. The organization has worked with over 82 NGOs which serve the elderly, disabled, homeless, orphans, refugees, and other underserved communities.
The collaboration with TLFP is aligned with our commitment to managing zero waste and net-zero emissions. We will contribute our products to the project based on the products’ shelf time and stock level.
Recently, we visited TLFP’s warehouse at Jalan Chan Sow Lin. The trip helped us to understand their operations and evaluate the results of their initiatives. Following the visit, we plan to participate in the TLFP’s volunteering engagement programme in August. Through the programme, our employees are encouraged to volunteer in cleaning and packing the “surplus food” at the warehouse before the food are distributed to the needy people.
