Wellous group of volunteers, along with volunteers from our strategic partner, DHL Express Malaysia participated in The Lost Food Project’s weekly food sorting and redistribution of surplus edible food to those in need. The objective of the volunteer initiative is to promote sustainable practices and encourage our employees to engage and contribute meaningfully to our community.
The Lost Food Project is dedicated to rescue & reducing food wastage, alleviating hunger, and promoting sustainability.
Kudos to our volunteers and everyone who contributed to this good deed.
Wellous’ Sustainability & ESG Pilot Initiative: Tackling Climate Change One Step at a Time
As part of our commitment to sustainability and ESG, Wellous is taking proactive steps to address climate change through a series of impactful activities this year.
Kicking off in Q1, we are launching a Recycling Programme aimed at fostering environmental awareness among employees. This initiative encourages waste reduction through internal communications and the installation of recycling bins across our office premises.
Beyond just recycling, we are also making a meaningful social impact. We’ve partnered with Lovely Disabled Home, a dedicated NGO that empowers differently-abled and underprivileged individuals by providing job opportunities. They will play a key role in collecting and managing our recycled materials, ensuring our efforts contribute to both environmental and social sustainability.
Together, let’s create a greener, more inclusive future!
