job overview:

  • Plan and execute video shoots, including setting up equipment, framing, and lighting.
  • Edit short and long-form videos for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook.
  • Develop basic scripts, storyboards, or shot lists to visualize concepts.
  • Collaborate with marketing and content teams to produce brand-aligned visuals.
  • Capture behind-the-scenes, event coverage, and promotional content as needed.
  • Maintain proper storage, backup, and organization of video assets

purpose of role:

We are looking for a creative and self-driven Videographer cum Content Creator who can plan, shoot, and edit engaging video content across digital platforms. This role blends technical video production skills with a strong sense of storytelling, creativity, and social media awareness.

job requirement

  1. Videography & Technical Skills
    • Proficient in handling DSLR/mirrorless cameras and videography equipment (lighting, audio, stabilizers).
    • Strong knowledge of camera settings, lighting techniques, and composition.
    • Ability to direct subjects and manage small shoots independently.
  2. Video Editing
    • Proficient in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or equivalent.
    • Able to add music, sound effects, transitions, and basic color grading.
    • Bonus: Experience in After Effects or motion graphics for animation and text effects.
  3. Content Creation
    • Skilled in writing short scripts or captions that suit each platform.
    • Familiar with current social media trends and video formats (e.g., Reels, TikTok challenges).
    • Good design sense to ensure brand visual consistency in every content piece
  4. Creative Thinking & Initiative
    • Ability to brainstorm and pitch video content ideas.
    • Strong storytelling ability and understanding of what engages viewers.
  5. Teamwork & Time Management
    • Able to work under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
    • Comfortable collaborating across departments (marketing, creative, etc.)
Preferred / Bonus Skills:
  • Photography skills for product or lifestyle shoots.
  • Knowledge in Canva, Adobe Illustrator, or basic graphic design.
  • Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Runway, CapCut AI, Midjourney) for faster content ideation/editing.
  • Good in video shooting and editing knowledge, and the marketing video funnel strategy, able to make a decision together with branding team come out a solid branding plan.
